This hat was developed in collaboration with polar explorer and ambassador Børge Ousland for Arctic expeditions; it can also be used for freeride skiing, snowboarding, and other outdoor adventures where high protection is required. By combining Ousland's decades of expedition experience with our more than 90 years of product development, we have created the ultimate Arctic expedition hat. This high-end expedition hat offers full coverage to protect you from drafts and harsh weather conditions that can lead to cold spots and frostbite. We use Gore-Tex Infinium fleece as the outer fabric, as it is a 100% windproof membrane with excellent breathability, and Polartec® Thermal Pro® as the lining, due to its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and quick-drying properties. The 310 g/m² Gore-Tex Infinium windproof fabric has a 100% polyester outer and reverse, and the 182 mm/m² Polartec® Thermal Pro® lining is made from 100% recycled polyester. Key features: Two side flaps with Velcro® adjustment allow for a snug fit and windproof seal; on warmer days, these can be attached to the top of the hat; a fleece front flap can be lowered for extra protection on colder days; a top nose and chin guard stows away at the back of the hat; a soft brim can be lowered for sunny days; and fully taped seams. This hat has a technical fit for complete protection and an easily adjustable chin strap. Circumference: M: 60 cm, L: 62 cm, XL: 64 cm
