THE SCIENCE OF DYNEEMA®
Dyneema® is born from science and engineered at the molecular level for exceptional strength, ultra-low weight, and outstanding durability.
It’s made from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), a polymer with molecular chains up to ten times longer than standard polyethylene – creating a material that’s incredibly robust yet remarkably light.
Unlike other UHMWPE manufacturers, Dyneema® controls every step of production – from raw material sourcing to the finished fiber – allowing for precise engineering of its strength and performance. Using a proprietary gel-spinning process, the fiber is then drawn and aligned to create a yarn that’s stronger than steel, by weight.

For this reason, at Bestard we try, as far as possible, to respect the differences of the feet, using a series of different lasts, each of them very well studied so that each one serves for a great variety of morphologies. The revolutionary design of the Vibram® VENTO sole allows us to design outdoor footwear with GORE-TEX® SURROUND® technology, which, without losing the protection and waterproofness of the footwear, guarantees maximum breathability and interior comfort, by achieving effective evacuation of the heat and humidity also on the sole of the foot, thus increasing the breathable surface by between 30% -40%.
