Bestard Canyon Guide

High grip boot designed for canyoning and other water activities.

Bestard's Canyon Guide model is surely the most resistant of all those manufactured for canyoning. It has a very simple design, which undoubtedly contributes to its strength and durability.

It does not incorporate neoprene pieces or plastic fastening straps, which are the parts that can cause the most problems.

They are light and have the advantage that you can use them to approach the ravine.

They are ideal for ravines, but they are interesting for other aquatic activities such as whitewater kayaking, hydrospeed, caving and in general any activity in a very humid environment in which good ankle protection is needed because these boots are high-top and provide very good support. ankle well.

Design and materials carefully developed and selected to meet the most demanding requirements regarding:

GRIP: The Vibram® Best Idrogrip sole offers excellent grip on wet and slippery surfaces, while leaving no marks on rock.

RESISTANCE: Careful selection of cutting-edge materials and technological advances, to achieve maximum resistance to wear due to abrasion and permanent contact with water.

COMFORT-PROTECTION-SAFETY: The design of the boot in combination with its lightness and lace closure provides maximum adaptation and support to the foot. This translates into a high level of comfort, efficiency and freedom of movement, thus achieving optimal performance that allows the use of a single boot both during the approach and during aquatic activity.

Self-locking lacing system, which allows a different tension in the instep and in the shaft, very interesting for ravines with very cold waters or in winter, since we can keep the ankle supported without pressing the foot, facilitating blood circulation and thus reducing the sensation of cold feet.

Efficient water evacuation. Upper closure with gaiter to prevent the entry of stones, branches, etc.

Includes easy-to-remove anatomical insole for faster drying.

Weight of the pair in number 8 UK: 1170 gr.

Cordura®

Cordura ® Natural-looking synthetic fabric, famous for its great abrasion resistance. When other conventional materials look worn and worn, CORDURA® maintains its soft comfort look and feel. The advantages of its use in boots mainly translate into light weight, a soft and flexible feel and a high breathability. The level of rigidity of a boot depends largely on the manufacturing insole.

We use six Bestflex mounting insoles, made of different materials, which give the boots five different levels of flexibility and rigidity, each one ideal for its specific activity.

The insoles that are marked with a '+P®' in the catalog technical sheets are also covered with PORON® Performance throughout the entire insole, which guarantees high energy return and excellent shock absorption throughout the life of the insole (see more information: PORON® Performance)
Bestflex 2 / Flexible
A flexible insole but with good resistance to torsion. Used in light and flexible boots, suitable for outdoor activities where there is a lot of walking but, in general, on terrain that is not too demanding. The human foot is a complicated work of engineering, creating an infinite number of different sizes and shapes, which makes it difficult the task of designing and manufacturing a unique boot that fits everyone. For this reason, at Bestard we try, as far as possible, to respect the differences in feet, using a series of different lasts, each of them very well studied so that each one serves a wide variety of morphologies.
Canyon
