Developed in collaboration with NARG (the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Team), this hooded jacket (656g M\/L) is made for mountaineering and has all the features, durability and protection needed for your operations. It will also work great for everyone who works in the mountains. There is a specific color for rescue groups, and the colors can be customized if the volumes are greater.<\/p>\n
We use down-proof aerodynamic nylon as the outer fabric because it provides an excellent combination of low weight, durability and excellent wind protection. We use thermal insulation in the jacket because it offers insulation when wet and compressed and has good warmth-to-weight values.<\/p>\n
The outer fabric is 100% 30D recycled woven nylon (49 g\/m2). The four different weights of 100% thermo polyester insulation are: on the outside of the arms (40 g\/m2), on the chest (60 g\/m2), on the hood and on the inside of the sleeves (80 g\/m2). m2) and on the back. and lower part of the torso (100 g\/m2).<\/p>\n
Key features include: storm hood with one-hand adjustments that is headset and helmet compatible, a two-way front zipper, two large Napoleon chest pockets with an interior mesh radio pocket, and an interior opening for a earpiece, two hand warmer pockets, upper arm. pocket on each side, two internal mesh pockets, one internal zipper pocket, velcro patches on the right chest and left sleeve for name tags, and highlights on the front, back and arms.<\/p>\n
This jacket has a regular fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement while climbing. It also has a longer cut in the back for added protection.<\/p>\n

“Thermo” is our general term for any synthetic insulation. Provides great thermal insulation to help the body maintain its temperature, minimizing energy loss. We use synthetic insulation as an alternative to down, as it maintains its functionality even in wet conditions.<\/p>\n
While moisture is down’s weak point, synthetic insulation shows its strength during sweat-inducing activities, when exposed to rain, or in continuously humid conditions. The synthetic insulation provides a very good warmth-to-weight ratio and is easy to maintain.<\/p>\n
The number after Thermo refers to the weight in gr\/m\u00b2 of the insulation used in the product. The suppliers of our synthetic insulation are Primaloft and Pinneco.<\/p>\n
